Architects- The here and now

The 24th of January 2011, 3 days from now the highly anticipated fourth studio album from UK ban the Architects will be officially released. The entire album is available for listening on there myspace page www.myspace.com/architectsuk and after just one listen I was hooked. The album is beautifully constructed into the perfect balance of gut-wrenching metalcore with a twist of post-hardcore thrown in. With pulsing drums, intense guitar riffs and a clear well produced sound each song is epic in its own way and the album offers variety from anthems like "Learn to live" and "Day in Day out" to the slower heartbreaking master-piece "An open letter to myself". The name The here and now was taken from the first single "Day in Day out" which was released in September 2010 along with a music video for the single which was released in November 2010. The album consists of ten new, original tracks as well as a dubstep remix of "Day in Day out" by Big chocolate. Do yourself a favour and get your hands on this album, its 44 minutes of pure metalcore awesomeness.
